England Aim To Continue Winning Streak Vs Depleted Sri Lanka


England cricket team are on a winning streak as Eion Morgan-led side has won three back-to-back games in the Super-12 round of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, England is all set lock horns with a depleted Sri Lanka in their fourth T20 World Cup match on Monday. England vs Sri Lanka is slated to be played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium from 7.30 pm IST.

Currently, England have secured the top soot in the points table of Group 1 with 6 points. Sri Lankan cricket team, on the other hand, have faced defeat in three games and is on fourth place with 2 points. If a confident England managed to continue their uneaten streak by defeating a depleted Sri Lanka, they’ll secure a place in the semi-finals. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, will be looking to win this match to keep alive their hopes of reaching the next round.

The pitch of Sharjah Stadium, famous for high-scoring matches, has not seen much fanfare in recent times.  In the last three matches at this ground, no team has crossed the 150 mark.
