England vs Australia: Heavyweights England and Australia both are dubbed as one of the favorites to win the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The two arch-rivals will clash against each other in the Group 1 match of the Super 12 round on Saturday. Tonight will be all about establishing dominance as both the teams come into the mega-clash with two wins each.
Talking about the Aussies, Australia kicked-off their World Cup campaign against South Africa in which they struggled, but the Yellow Brigade secured an impressive victory on Thursday over Sri Lanka. The biggest relief for Aussies in this match was the struggling opening duo of skipper Aaron Finch and David Warner returning back to form with the bat.
David Warner, who scored a fiery half-century to power his team to a sensational win, admitted that the match against England will be a tough one. “Obviously they (England) are a team that is good in every department,” Warner had said in the post-match press conference after Australia defeated Sri Lanka.
On the other hand, a high-on-confidence England will face Aussies after registering big wins over West Indies and Bangladesh. England got easy wins in their last two games but are likely to face a tough challenge from Australia.
