Currently three mega infrastructure projects are under progress in Noida city. It is proposed to inaugurate these projects on 24 January 2018. These are as given below:-
- Multi Level Parking in Sector 18, Noida. The original deadline of its completion was in July 2015. This project has distinction of missing seen deadlines. It will accommodate 3000 vehicles once it is fully operational. It will provide major relief to commercial area of Sector 18.
- Underpass in Sector 94. The original deadline of its completion was in June 2015. This is a Rs 40 Crore project. It will make signal free the stretch between Kalindi Kunj and NH-24. Once ready you won’t have to use Mahamaya flyover if you are going from Delhi towards Sector 125 and Sector 94 of Noida.
- Underpass in Sector 61, near Uflex. The original deadline of its completion was in December 2016. This is a Rs 60 Crore project. It is a 650 meters 3 lane carriageway. It will provide signal free travel between Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad.
Another long delayed project is that of Yamuna Bridge. This project has already missed three deadlines. Now it is likely to be completed by June 2018.
These projects are at different stages of completion. Finishing touches are being given to these three projects. Let us hope that they are operational by January 2018 end.
