T20 WC 2021: Indian captain Virat Kohli often grabs the headlines. Sometimes he draws people’s attention because of his brilliant batting, while sometimes his enthusiasm on the field becomes a topic of discussion. However this time Virat Kohli has become a sensation on social media for a different reason. A video of him is currently going viral, from the match played against Afghanistan. Virat Kohli is seen dancing in it.

Virat grooves to ‘My Name is Lakhan’
This happened when the Afghanistan team was batting. It was then that Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor’s famous song ‘My Name Is Lakhan’ started playing in the stadium. It was when Virat Kohli came to the boundary line for fielding that he was seen dancing for a while on the song. Fans were excited to see this and started encouraging him. The video went viral as soon as it hit the internet. Millions of people have watched and shared this video so far.

This is not the first time that Virat Kohli has been the talk of the town for his dance on the field. Many times before too such videos of him have gone viral on social media. Virat Kohli was seen dancing in the final of the 2016 T20 World Cup and the World Test Championship held this year. Interestingly in 2016 too, he danced to the same song.

Team India’s semi-final hopes still intact
India beat Afghanistan by 66 runs on Wednesday to register their first T20 World Cup win. Rohit Sharma scored 74 and KL Rahul 69 in the match. Then Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant took over with their superb batting and made a score of 210 for the team. Team India’s hopes of reaching the semi-finals are still alive. If India wins the next two matches by a huge margin and New Zealand loses to Afghanistan, team India will advance to the semi-finals. However, this will be decided only after the next matches.
