Jewar Airport is being fast tracked by the government. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has started parallel action for development of area near the proposed Jewar airport. Very soon YEIDA will launch two land schemes. 650 acres of land is being earmarked for industrial and commercial use. There is a proposal to auction five plots of 10 acres area each, for 5 Star hotels. These hotels will be required once the Jewar international airport becomes operational. These hotel plots will be located in Sectors 21, 28 and 29.
Method of plot allotment for hotels and mixed use land in Jewar
The plots will be auctioned in a time bound manner. There will be two bid system namely Technical Bid and financial Bid for hotel plots. The reserve price is expected to be Rs 34000 per square meter.
There is one more scheme of plot allotment. This will be an open ended scheme will be launched on 10 January 2018. Under this scheme land will be sold as mixed land use and industrial plots. Under this second scheme allotment will be done based on presentation, financial strength and technical capabilities. Nine mixed land use plots are located in Sector 24.
