Pujara, Agarwal Take Field At Wankhede As India Looks To Score Big On Day 3 Of Mumbai Test

[ad_1]

IND Vs NZ Day 3: The second Test is heading towards a direction that is looking that it would guarantee a result. India was 69/0 at Stumps on Day 2 of the Mumbai Test.

Pujara and Agarwal had walked in to open the innings for India.  New Zealand finished at 62 runs in the first innings. India had a 263 runs lead in the first innings. On another day, some other captain would have gone ahead with enforcing the follow-on, that too on Day 2 of a Test match, but Kohli decided against it and put his batsmen in to bat again.

It will be a test for Kiwi bowlers to bowl the Indian batsmen out. It looks like a difficult road for the New Zealand team as India is already way ahead in the Test match.

Earlier in the match, New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel created history in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Saturday as he became the third bowler in Test cricket to take 10 wickets in an innings.

Session Timings:

After the first day of unpredictable weather and subsequent wet outfield, it has been a simpler last two days forecast in Mumbai.

Virat Kohli on the eve of the match said that he enjoyed playing at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Indian captain has a hundred against his name at the Wankhede which he scored while playing an ODI in 2017.
