Rain Stops, Ground Staff Working To Take Covers Off


The second Test match between India vs England, of the five-match series, will be played on 12 august at 3:30 pm at Lord’s Cricket Ground London. Both teams played endlong before the final day of the Nottingham Test got ruined because of heavy rain.

India-England shared 4 points each from the drawn fixture as the five-match Test series remains 0-0 and will be targetting to win at Lord’s London.

Indian Captain Virat Kohli has confirmed that all-rounder Shardul Thakur has been out for a while until he will be fit to play. “Shardul has a strain on the left hamstring. So, he cannot give his best for the 2nd Test. But he will be alright for the 3rd Test,” Virat Kohli said at the pre-match press conference on Wednesday.
