Virat Kohli’s ‘Hunger For Success Is Unbelievable’, Says Rohit Sharma Ahead Of IND Vs AFG


T20 World Cup: Rohit Sharma has come out in support of his captain, Virat Kohli ahead of the match against Afghanistan. In many ways, this match will be a do-or-die game for India. Ahead of this clash against Afghanistan, Rohit Sharma has come out in support of his captain Virat Kohli.

The past week has been difficult for Kohli as he has been receiving criticism for not winning the two matches of the T20 WC. Backing his captain, Rohit Sharma said, “The hunger for the success of Virat Kohli is just unbelievable.”

“If you look at his record, it not so easy to go out there and do it consistently. Playing consistent cricket for a long period for the country is remarkable,” added Rohit Sharma in a video on ICC’s website.

Speaking about Kohli’s ability to bat in all three formats, Rohit said, “When he came in 2008, he evolved as a player over the years. He has added little cents over the years and he has evolved over a period of time. All these years, I have seen putting his best foot forward.”

Virat Kohli faced a serious backlash after back-to-back losses that team India faced. His nine-month-old daughter also faced online abuse. Rohit Sharma coming out on matchday and saying these things about Virat Kohli shows the character of the current team India.
