Wasim Jaffer Uses ‘Dhamaal’ Movie’s Funny Analogy To Explain Semi-Final Qualification

T20 World Cup: The permutations and combinations to understand the points table and the Net Run Rate (NRR) in any cricket tournament are no less than any tough Mathematics exam, but Wasim Jaffer has got a fix for the problem.

The fix has come from a very famous Bollywood film!

Yes, you heard it right. Former cricketer Wasim Jaffer shared a meme from the Bollywood movie, Dhamaal to explain the semi-final qualification scenario for India and Australia. Jaffer posted a still from a popular scene where the life and death of one person depend on the other person’s actions.

The analogy is pretty similar to the current situation in the T20 World Cup where India is hopeful that Afghanistan would win their last match, while Australia is hopeful that England would win their last Group game, to survive.

Take a look at the meme that was shared by Jaffer:

One funny post by Jaffer answers questions from a lot of fans who want to know the scenarios for semi-final qualification.

It has to be noted that by the virtue of winning four Group stage matches, Pakistan and England have already qualified for the semi-final of this year’s T20 World Cup.

The final picture about India’s qualification will be clear after Sunday when Afghanistan plays New Zealand at 3:30 pm IST.
